The name ‘KOKO’ is short, fun and was used to display the Mauritian roots, sea and the island in general. In terms of logo, the client wanted something very classy and relatable to both men and women.

As the client decided to embark on this new journey, she was aware that this was a very competitive market and wanted to differentiate the brand KOKO with a strong branding.

Following different propositions she finally opted for the black and white version. To complement the logo, we decided to add dots and zigzag patterns in bright colors to give an exotic look to the brand.
In terms of website development, this project was challenging and at the same time very interesting for the team as we had a client who knew exactly what she wanted and was part of the creative process. With the strong branding we had, there were a lot of options for the website in terms of design, however one thing we had to keep in mind was to put functionality above aesthetics.
Overall this was a very interesting and collaborative project whereby we had the opportunity to learn from different perspectives.
