HA.Ramtoola: Helping the sole Mauritian distributor of Nestle products find ways🚚

About HAR

Founded in 1968, H.A Ramtoola ltd is a private brand and supply chain company with a rich history. Powered by our people, driven to support your business.

Following a change in strategy with a range of offers hinging solely on distribution of consumer dry foods, Zeid Ramtoola, the 4th generation leader of over 60th years old family legacy business, asked us to revamp their logo, create content and a corporate website. After reviewing the old logo, we had to roll up our sleeves and do even better, both in terms of user experience and web design.

Old Logo

Solution

The old brand had become cluttered and confusing after undergoing several iterations. The combination of flying bird had become tired and ubiquitous with supply chain companies, stopping HAR  from standing out. The brand lacked the sophistication needed to propel it into leader status, and the lack of a core brand message was preventing them from connecting to their customers.

The first thing we thought about was how we could communicate their USP’s through simple brand language. After an interview to know more about the company’s history, we developed a set of messages based on the relationship with each customer type, that can interchange and form the basis of a brand system based on the core tenets of the business, supplier to consumer.
